FAKRO FEP P2 panoramic takfönseter is of top hung and pivot design. There are two opening systems available:
- outward with 40 degree opening angle, when blockade released changes to 68 degrees;
- pivot, enables the sash to be rotated through 180 degrees, used e.g. for cleaning the outer pane.
The large sash opening angel allows for an easy approach to the opened takfönseter and provides for a wide view to the outside. The large takfönseter dimensions and ability to lift the sash to an angle of 68 degrees provide an access to the roof for maintenance, repair or escape in case of emergency. FEP L3 top hung panoramic takfönseter glazing unit consists of external toughened glass with internal laminated glass enhancing the takfönseter operating safety.

Flashings
Flashings are essential for the correct installation of takfönseter. Precisely designed flashing details ensure a durable and neat fit with the roofing material used. The purpose of flashing is to ensure good drainage away from the takfönseter and to provide protection from the elements.
