FAKRO GreenView RAL 7016 Flashing for Roof Windows – Protection, Sealing, and Insulation
The GreenView flashings have been specially designed for the new generation of GreenView roof windows and can only be used with windows of this series. Compared to previous flashings, structural modifications have been made to improve both durability and aesthetics, and to simplify installation. In addition to standard flashings, versions with additional thermal insulation are also offered. This insulation provides an excellent system solution, ensuring a tighter and warmer connection between the window and the roofing. In addition to the metal elements, the flashing features a flexible insulation material glued on the inside, which adheres firmly to the window frame, forming an insulating layer after installation. The insulation material boasts excellent parameters. The new generation of flashings and GreenView roof windows are available as standard in RAL 7016 (anthracite). The flashing also comes in new packaging, featuring enhanced damage resistance and an easier opening system thanks to a tear-off strip embedded in the carton.
THERMO Version of the Flashing
This solution provides additional insulation for roof windows above the batten level. It features internally attached flexible insulation material that closely fits the window frame, forming an insulation barrier after installation. This significantly improves the thermal performance of the window, reducing heat loss by up to 15% depending on the window type. The risk of thermal bridges and energy loss is also minimized. The solution is suitable for all roof windows, both wooden and aluminium-PVC types.
GreenView flashings are characterized by:
- a changed raw material for manufacturing (which increases resistance to damage and stiffness),
- new anthracite RAL7016 color as standard,
- the lower flashing element integrates the lower cladding profile PKDO,
- removal of fastening screws from the top flashing element.
Original flashing only for the new Greenview generation:
- EZV-AT Thermo AX00: Flashing for tiles in anthracite RAL 7016, suitable for all types of profiled and thick roofing up to 45 mm. With added insulation, it ensures a tight and warm connection between window and roof slope.
- EZV-A AX00: Flashing for tiles in anthracite RAL 7016, suitable for all types of high-profile roofing up to 45 mm.
- ESV AX00: Flashing for flat coverings such as roofing felt, bitumen, and flat metal sheets up to 10 mm thick.
- ESV-T Thermo AX00: Flashing for flat coverings such as roofing felt, bitumen, flat sheets up to 10 mm. Additional insulation reduces heat loss by up to 15%, depending on the window type.

- Suitable for roof pitches from 15° to 90°.

EZV-F and EZV-FT
- Flashing for installing FAKRO roof windows in flat tiles without profiling.
- Suitable for roof pitches from 15° to 90°.
- Available in Standard and Thermo versions.
ELV
- Flashing for installing FAKRO roof windows in flat coverings up to 10 mm (2x5 mm).
- Suitable for roof pitches from 15° to 90°.
- Available only in Standard version.
ELV-T
- Flashing for installing FAKRO roof windows in flat coverings up to 10 mm (2x 5 mm) and 24:32, 2x(12:16) profile height.
- Suitable for beaver tail tiles.
- Suitable for roof pitches from 15° to 90°.
- Available only in Thermo version.
EBV-P and ELV-PT
- Flashing for installing FAKRO roof windows in standing seam metal panels.
- Suitable for roof pitches from 15° to 90°.
- Available in Standard and Thermo versions.

What is a Flashing and Do I Really Need One?
A flashing is an essential component for the correct installation of a roof window in the roof structure. It diverts rain and snow away from the window and provides protection from wind.

FAKRO EZV-A Flashing
A universal flashing suitable for all roofing materials with a profile height from 10 mm to 45 mm. It ensures a tight seal between the roof window and roof coverings such as tiles or profiled metal sheets.
FAKRO ESV Flashing
Flashing for flat and thin roofing materials (thickness up to 10 mm = two layers of 5 mm each), such as bitumen shingles, slate, or sheet metal. Suitable for roof pitches from 15° to 90°.
Single Flashing vs. Modular Combination System
The modular combination system allows aesthetic and tight installation of multiple roof windows in horizontal, vertical, or block arrangements.
